No One Does it Quite #LikeMomDoes When You Are Sick! Six Time Mommy Brought to you by Tylenol and TheCo. All my memories of my mom are before I was age 16, as some of you know she passed away shortly after my 16th Birthday. Well, thinking back I remember so many great memories of her and they make me want to be the best mom I can be to my kids, especially when they are sick. mom was the best caretaker. I remember being sick, up all hours of the night, and her having to take time off work to care for me. She’d make me homemade soup, make sure I was hydrated, by giving me water, and ginger ale – make sure I was stocked with any medicines I needed. She was wonderful and there was never a complaint from her. When I’d be sick and pass it on to her, she never complained, even though she didn’t have anyone to take care of her. Shortly before she passed away, she got a very nasty cold and I remember having to stock her up on Tylenol®, tissues and ginger ale! It was a great feeling. Being able to care for her like she did me, not only did this teach me just what a special bond we truly had, and how much I would miss her when she was gone but it taught me no one would ever do anything like Mom does. There’s just something so special about moms. For a long time my mom was a single mom, taking care of me on her own and doing her best. If I got sick she was there, if I was having a bad day she was there, through all my ups and downs she was there. Although she is no longer with us in the physical sense, when I get sick or my kids get sick – we feel her. We know she is here, she is with us. I want to thank her for teaching me how to be the best mom I can be, and making sure I was equipped with all the knowledge I needed to be able to take care of my kids in their time of need and sickness. Tylenol® is giving you a chance to thank your mom for all that she does. Check out this video then visit www.likemomdoes.ca and share your own shout out using #likemomdoes.
