Made with almond flour, coconut oil and a side of cashewmilk frozen dessert, you won't be needing any other recipe this summer.So just as I announce that I’m moving beyond just being a food blog, my oven breaks. If that doesn’t count as a sign, I don’t know what does.

The funny thing is that even though the universe was in support of my plans, the people in my life were left pretttty confused. As I’ve spoken to more family and friends, I realize that perhaps I wasn’t as clear as I thought I was being when sharing this post.

It’s kinda nuts how something can be so clear in your head, but then when you put pen to paper (or in this case, finger to key), your message doesn’t totally translate. What I meant by “so much more than a food blog” was that I wanted to start exploring other areas of health and not just focus on the food. Because even though food brings me a lot of joy, so do so many other things. The recipes aren’t going anywhere, I’m just posting slightly fewer to make room for other topics!

It was a tad dramatic to declare that I was unhappy, because I truly, honestly feel deeply blessed for the life I have, but I’m learning that sometimes it’s okay to ask for more….
