Greek Turkey Burgers with Homemade Tzatziki Pretty Little Grub One of my goals for this year of blogging was to post more recipes. I have failed miserably at this goal. It’s been months since I posted a recipe so when I had some downtime this weekend, I decided to get to the kitchen and start creating. Greek food is one of my favourite types of food. I still dream of the days I spent in Greece, eating gyros daily for lunch and baklava every night for dessert. The flavours of greek food – olive oil, lemon, garlic, oregano, etc. are some of my favourites, so I was pretty excited to put them together in creating my own turkey burger. When creating a greek burger, I knew I wanted to top it with tzatziki. Tzatziki is so delicious yet impossibly hard to spell. I don’t want to admit how many times I had to google it when creating my pictures, titles, text, etc. I used to always buy my tzatziki until I learned just how easy it is to make. Now it’s greek night all the time in my house and with this simple recipe, it will be in your house too. This is an excerpt from the article Greek Turkey Burgers with Homemade Tzatziki which originally appeared on http://www.prettylittlegrub.com/.
