Today, we are bringing you our lemon sorbet recipe that we make with out an ice-cream maker. It is super easy and fun to make and it doesn’t heat up your kitchen. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely for you. It is perfect for those hot summer nights.

Lemon Sorbet

  • 1 C Water
  • 1½ C Sugar
  • 1½ C Lemon juice
  • 1 Tbls Lemon zest


  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water, sugar, and lemon zest. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow it to cool.
  2. Stir in 2 cups of freshly squeezed lemon juice
  3. Transfer to a 9 x 13 metal baking plan. Place in freezer for about 3 hours. Stir with fork every half hour for the first hour.
