Overcoming Bedtime Woes COCO AND COWE Watching my son grow and evolve as he is now three has been a beautiful ride and also bitter sweet when encountering various milestones. Each phase is definitely an interesting process and the beauty of it all is that each parent may experience these phases in their child or children’s lives differently! I remember vividly posting about my cry for help back in February on the blog when my son Michael was experiencing some very frustrating bedtime woes. He was still taking a bottle to fall asleep, and one bottle led to two or three, and to top it off we were co-sleeping. It was just the two of us in my King bed, yet I always seemed to get pushed off to the opposite corner stuck on one forth of the bed! It was both an interesting yet difficult struggle for me, as I didn’t know how I was going to get him out of this night time bottle dependancy funk at the time. I made the decision to cut him off cold turkey from the bottle, and gradually it just worked and he stopped taking a bottle at night!
