I am so excited for Fall. Beautiful sunny days with a refreshing chill in the air. My favorite time of year. We won’t talk about the rain… But whatever the fall weather has in store for me I am ready to take it on in style with my new gear from Bench.

The Bench Den Jacket in Smoked Pearl Marl ($159 CAD) is a beautifully structured fleece lined jacket. I love that this jacket keeps me warm without any added bulk. It’s tapers to the body in the most perfect way and is seamed in all the right places. It is just so incredibly flattering. It also covers my bum so I can feel free to go out in my leggings and still look “appropriate”. The sleeves have a thumb hole which is a feature I always find so cute. Unfortunately, at only 5′ 2″, the sleeves are too long on me to properly use the feature. You can see on the model below the sleeves even look like they have a lot of extra length. I may end up hemming the sleeves. Bench is offering 30% off full priced jackets right now for a limited time on their website and in stores. I’m not sure how long this promotion is valid for so I wouldn’t delay if you see something you love. The 30% discount brings the Den Jacket down to only $111.30 CAD!

I have lost 30 pounds recently and exercising regularly has become part of my routine. I thought it was due time I treat myself to some fabulous new workout gear. Considering I work from home most of the time I find myself wearing leggings most days, even if I’m not working out. I’ve heard amazing things about the quality of the Bench leggings and yoga pants and I was not disappointed. I decided on a pair of basic black leggings, the Bench Baddah C Legging in Black with Accent ($69 CAD). They have just the right amount of hold and lift making my legs, butt, and stomach look fabulous. I love the wide waistband with the higher rise because it helps hold the tummy flat (thank you pregnancy flab) and prevent the dreaded muffin top. These leggings are so comfortable and flattering and look just as great with a tunic sweater as they do with my workout tops. These leggings are fully opaque so I don’t have to worry about blessing the people around me with a glimpse at my undies!

Because I am a color lover I had to pick out something a little more fun as well. The Bench Baddah P Legging in Meadow Mauve has a gorgeous mauve and purple in a sort of abstract chevron gradient pattern. They have the same amazing fit and feel as my Black Baddah Cs. I really love how these tights look. I was worried that the pattern might not be as flattering on me as full black, but the pattern has an up and down kind of flow to it so it maintains a slimming effect. Right now Bench. is offering an additional 40% off already reduced merchandise as part of their Mid-Season sale so these leggings are on sale for only $41.99 CAD right now!

When I was shopping online I was hoping to find a top that would function as a workout top but also look cute as regular casual wear. Well I found it in the Bench Haakonflip II SLV Top in Smoked Pearl. I love the angled abstract pattern on this short sleeved t-shirt. It is just long enough to cover my bum when wearing leggings. It has this really cool asymetrical draw string feature on the one side that makes it possible to adjust the ruching on the side. The top also comes in a gorgeous Rose Violet colour. They are also part of the additional 40% off promotion bringing the price down to only $20.99 CAD. I think that means I’ll need to pick up the Rose Violet one!
